I’m thankful that our government is so well built that a lot of it functions quite well despite our tenacious efforts to break it.

In case someone didn’t look it up – The House of Representatives shall chose their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.

No, but it’s a step in the right direction.

This is the way the constitution allows us to get out from under a president who would destroy our democracy. Thank you founding fathers.

They should amend the Constitution that says if you are impeached you can’t run for re-election

Now if we just had Republicans in Congress with the brains and hearts to actually do their jobs, to shake off their DJT cult programming.

I want to think justice will prevail, but in this case, even the Supreme Court is bought and paid for…..REGARDLESS, HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT WE HAVE, OUR FAMILY!

If Kate Smith were still with us, she’d be singing “God Help America.” Happy Thanksgiving.

The impeachment process was not based on the presence of a self-serving but contentious mutually exclusive binary political system and with such a self-serving system deeply entrenched, … it is unlikely that it will ever be changed to better serve We the People. Only a grass-roots movement could change our stagnant ping-pong political system but our low voter turnouts and low registration rates indicate a significant degree of voter apathy and or disgust. Too often we are compelled to “hold our nose and vore for the lesser evil” only to have it overridden by an Electoral College that was designed to be apolitical, but no longer is!

Remember, in 2020 and beyond, you can vote for HONEST, LAW-ABIDING Candidates that HONOR AND OBEY the Constitution of the United States, and work FOR THE PEOPLE they represent…or you can vote Republican.

“Clause 5”? Isn’t that the “Sanity Clause”?

    Article 1, Section 2, Clause 5

The House of Representatives shall choose their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.

    Giving Thanks indeed.
