Humans love the smell of fresh pine but Marm is drawn to the taste.
Our cat likes the tree’s water as well as to sleep in the tree’s “shade”. The dog is only mildly curious. After all, our dog can usually go out and lap water from the driveway.
Zzzz, er, what dear, I’m waiting to see if Barbie runs in nude as she’s quite senile by now.
I remember once hearing about putting additives into the tree water to keep feeding the tree [aspirin] and keep nasties from growing [bleach].
