A couple of years before my mom passed away she talked me into a fake tree. I agreed if it was prelit and put up the day after Thanksgiving. Now I’m by myself, it is easier with a fake tree. I did have to replace it this year since the bottom section wasn’t lighting well last year. Got one with LED changing lights and it’s much nicer. Doesn’t even shed much.

Me and my 4 ft artificial Christmas tree in a pot have had a wonderful relationship for years. I wouldn’t change a thing.

I switched to an artificial tree so I can put it up the weekend before Thg and leave it up until 6 Jan. Or later if I don’t get around to it :)
