With more and more information (evidence) coming out, I think Trump wants the impeachment trial now, while the republicans are still willing to ignore it all. If enough comes out, some may find themselves forced to admit that they see it.
Republicans, during the Clinton impeachment regularly shouted, “Character matters!”…now, they turn a blind eye to it all! I used to vote republican up until the 2016 election. The orange buffoon became my political tipping point. I couldn’t support a party that would actually nominate such a moron! Not only did they nominate him (many thinking he would become more “presidential” over time), but now, nearly 3 years down the road they spinelessly cow tow to his every corrupt, delusional action. These people have willingly, knowingly cast aside any semblance of class or integrity. I hope they all “go down in flames” in the coming elections!
Of course, we already know that #45 paid to have unprotected sex with a porn star while married to his current wife, even ignoring all the bragging about his many adulteries of the past…so clearly THIS doesn’t matter to the GOP, either…
