Removing Bonespurs and his administration, and “Turtle” from the Senate, with greatly improve the speed and function of true governance under a democratic republic.
We don’t want or need this kind of governance. And considering how bad the current one is… and how little he cares for social norms and necessities, impeachment seems to me like a reasonable path toward, at the very least, not-so-bad governance. Of course he could just resign. Or finish tipping over into incoherent psychosis. Or be sucked up by aliens. Really, I’m okay with anything but continue acting as if he were the president.
The detour happened when the president committed crimes. Governance becomes difficult when you’re in the middle of a crime spree. And it should be noted that legislation is passing in the House. It’s going nowhere in the do-nothing Senate (you know, the folks who don’t want there to be in investigation). So this, like so much from Gorrell, is another lie.
Gorrell and the other Trump Disciples believe that “government” consists of massive corruption, Treason, perjury, and weakening the United States as much as possible at home and abroad.
For the last 3 1/2 years, there’s been no governance…..too busy making up stories, lies, deceiving, plotting and wasting tax dollars on a useless wall, Golfing trips, dismantling the government policies, pardoning criminals, signing damaging executive orders, fracking in National parks, strip mining mountains and destroying states with coal ash, …..on and on….
The House has passed a large number of bills that Moscow Mitch refuses to bring forward to the Senate. These include bills to make elections more secure, MM refers to that as “cheating” by the Dems. They have managed to continue to work while the impeachment hearings continue.
When both houses were Repubs, the only significant thing they passed was that horrible tax bill that has expanded the debt and hurt many middle class families by eliminating their tax breaks.
The only thing that the Repub Senate has “accomplished” is to install unqualified judges. Mos are rated as “not qualified” by the American Bar Association; the Reoubs are now calling the ABA a “special interest” group.

Gorrell, like McConnell, is NOT interested in ‘Governance!’

Ask The Donald about that detour.

Any time the Trumpers want to actually start to “govern,” we’ll lay off the impeachment.
