I’m an old fart now, but I remember my mother telling me that when my brother and I were small boys, our Christmas tree always looked like that when we got done decorating it. Mom and Dad had to spend another hour or two after we went to bed re-hanging all of the ornaments … LOL!
Decorating the Christmas Tree becomes a good memory when the whole family is involved. Even unwrapping (“I remember when we got this!”) or handing ornaments to someone else to hang makes it a “together” occasion.

Remember when “tinsel” was lead foil and it would fall off the tree and short out your Lionel train set?

Great idea! Maybe some hatchets and oversized sharp scissors. What could go wrong?
