    It’s long been known that big cities lean liberal. And that most big cities are on the coast. Then there’s the well known “left coast” effect: Whey you don’t have to shovel snow, you get less conservative, I guess. Bottom line: I think this glacier cracked in the wrong spot.

    The U.S. is NOT divided on climate change, except that that division is between the citizens’ awareness and the current administration’s denial.

    I see this as a very accurate portrayal of America today. As Bill Mahar discussed at the end of his show last night, our divisiveness is getting frozen, approaching a point of irreconciliation. We ALL have to begin to listen again, and accept the fact that others have different opinions and values. That being said, I still feel that a far-Right coup is in the making, egged on by the Wealthy Elite, who’s greed has grown out of self-control.
