How about Nate’s original Ultra Nate? Or he could combine the two aspects of superhero and zombies… I’ve recently known about insects being turned into a zombie by being infected by a fungus/parasite, maybe you can make that into an IP somehow, combining superhero and zombie aspects as well. Something like Superhero Insects (Hasn’t been done much or even at all afaik) vs Evil Fungus that makes innocent insects into zombies. I’m sure Nate will think of something…

The irony is that both IPs that Nate referenced – the Avengers & the Walking Dead – aren’t original. The idea of powerful superheroes coming together to face threats bigger than themselves was explored in Justice Society of America in the early 1940s with the Justice League of America coming around 20-years later. And zombie stories have been around since 1928, decades before George Romero.

It is far better to take an existing idea and do your own twist. Look at Alan Moore’s (overrated) Watchmen, his (vastly overrated) Killing Joke or Mark Gruenwald’s (far, far superior) Squadron Supreme for examples. Zombies? Richard Matheson’s “I Am Legend” was very good. JK Rowling didn’t invent the of a school of sorcery but she created her own twists for an enjoyable read.
