Marketing, Sophie. You have to find a hook that makes your butt racing attract greater audiences. Maybe, try wearing little hats and squirrel costumes? Or, go the “Grumpy Cat” route?

We have all-cat-crazy nights when the four of them are just bonkers for hours

If we knew WHEN they were going to do it, we could sell tickets

Ah, yes, cat-crazies! We call them The Races At Pimlico. Our dogs reserved their crazies for careening around the yard in circles or figure eights, usually with a frisbee or ball in their mouth…so they could also play Look What I Have That You Can’t Have.

Some dogs are indeed born comedians and revel in the attention. Some dogs have more dignity and seem to disdain the goofy of the breed. I don’t thing either likes the other very much. I love them both.

Ziggy once looked into a pet store advertising a “Complete Home Entertainment System.” I forget how much was that doggy in the window.
