Since Da Vinci was a bit of a prophetic inventor, he probably envisioned this would happen to his painting.

Dan should have made the drone look like this.

A sad millenial example of helicopter palette-ing.

It’s in the Hover Museum now!

Upon going to the Louvre, it was a surprise to see how SMALL this painting is. And hard to get close up among the throng of tourists, so almost impossible to closely inspect it. It’s also under glass, of course.

When I was there to see it 1974 what a let down.It was on loan to Japan!

The Da Vinci Towed??

This is not far from the truth! The painting is very small and the Multiple rows of people is incredible to see it! Can’t even get close if you wanted to…..

Groan-a-Lisa would be a better fit.

I guess Michelangelo was thinking ahead when he painted his work on the ceiling.

Until someone hacks the drone. Then it’s the Gone-A Lisa.

There is a new Nova documentary, “Decoding da Vinci” that was shown on PBS on 13 November (at least in the Denver, CO area) that analyzes his painting techniques, including the Mona Lisa.

Must have Bunny Batteries.
