Hug a Bear Day. That’s how my calendar says it – “Hug a Bear”. NOT “Hug a Teddy Bear”, but “Hug a Bear”. Somehow I don’t think it would be a good idea to hug a bear. He might decide to hug you back – with dire consequences.

National Men Make Dinner Day. Well, since I have no man in my life to make my dinner, I guess I’m on my own.
National Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day
National Bittersweet Chocolate With Almonds Day. None for me, thanks. I’m not crazy about almonds and I don’t like bittersweet chocolate. I like mil chocolate best.
My guess is that Queen Lily is the bopper. Went to the kitchen this morning and found out what Blackjack had been up to during the night. The drawer where we keep bread, buns, cookies, etc was wide open. So was the drawer with all of dish towels – which he’d managed to mess up. It’s like he’s looking for something in there but I have no idea what it could be.None were on the floor this time, though.
I hope this doesn’t get me into trouble with the fine and fair moderator of this forum. I have been emailing cat videos daily to the people who asked me to. If you can see these, they are well worth a look. I tried to convert them to imgur format but I’m doing something wrong somewhere.

Today is my anniversary. Thirty nine wonderful years.
My three girls are celebrating, too. They get a small can of people tuna on “special” days…they’ll celebrate anything, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, St. Francis’ feast day, etc.
Guess that means we all, including Graham, need to send a virtual hug to bbear today!!!! Happy hug a bear day everyone ! And my sweet husband is making dinner even as we speak.
Chesney is definitely seeing stars now. (And maybe some tweeting birds as well.) On another note, saw a seagull on the way to work. Kind of strange seeing them so far away from the ocean.
