Scott Stantis has completely lost his very tenuous connection to reality.

There was never anything “super-secret” about the closed-door hearings. They were preliminary investigative proceedings, in which both parties — Republican and Democratic — had equal access to participation and question. They were behind closed doors to prevent witnesses from coordinating their stories, with the understanding that the full transcripts (with redactions only for classified material) would be made public, which is now happening. This is how all proceedings work in the investigative phase. Law enforcement does not question possible witnesses in public nor allow participation by suspects, but the investigative material is made public at the appropriate time.

Likely Stantis submitted these strips far in advance, so must have huge amounts of egg on his face as the transcripts are now being released (which everyone except, apparently, Stantis and the Faux “News” victims knew was coming), and the next phase of hearings will be fully public and televised.

The Republican enablers after complaining that the hearings were secret are now complaining that they will be held in public.

And, as DD pointed out above, Republicans had full access to question witnesses and now have full access to transcripts and permission to release any part of them they believe would favor Trump.

They have released nothing so far.

this is all a huge waste of time and wasted money, a desperate attempt by Pelosi and Schiff. It’s about time they do something they haven’t done in a while… legislate

Meanwhile in reality, open hearings start tomorrow and the complete transcripts from the “super secret” hearings have been released to the public (showing that Republicans participated fully). Thought you could ride this horse for three weeks, huh, Scott?

The public fiasco starts tomorrow. Let the self-impeachment of the Dems begin. Will be a bigger, more hilarious, bust than the kavanaugh hearings and the Mueller testimony. Pass the popcorn as the American people see them reveal themseleves as the rabid, crazed liars they are.

Trump by a landslide in 2020.

They should televise it all from here on out. Let facts rain down upon the voters. Some portion must be reachable.
