It isn’t illegal to speak in Russian. It is illegal to collude with foreign countries against your political opponents. It is illegal to bribe foreign countries to open up an investigation on your political opponent.
Foreign interference in elections has gone on for as long as there have been elections. The US does it too. What Russia spent in the 2016 election was a drop in the ocean of funds spent by the two parties. Those political parties could only hope to swing an election with so little money spent.
Russia got what it really wanted. It got deep division and unrest in our country. When they saw the way the Democrats reacted they laughed and patted themselves on the back at having not only achieved, but far exceeded what they they expected.
If you want to see quid pro quo or bribery, look at the Democratic Senators who told Ukraine to dig up dirt on Trump or lose all funding. You can also look at the undisputed bribery that Biden admitted to when he threatened to withhold funding from Ukraine unless they fired a Ukrainian prosecutor he didn’t want in office.
It amazes me that Democrats refuse to see actual, verifiable facts of what their own party did and instead focus on hearsay and opinions from biased ‘witnesses’.
