I would put religious tracts at the bottom, though I guess they technically count as advice.

Little boxes of raisins should be their own category. Also down at the bottom should be Halloween Peeps.

On the other end, one of our neighbors back in the 50’s & 60’s used to hand out candy apples. Kids would change costumes just to get second helpings.

Where do big wax lips fit into this picture?

My sister the dental hygienist used to give out sugar-free gum.

If I ever decide to participate again, I’ll have two treats available: chocolate for the sweet/polite children, and raisins for the jerks.

How is licorice so high? It should be with the old Easter candy.

Heath bars are chocolate and toffee, both of which are higher on the pyramid. Interesting.

When I was a kid, my bud and I would start off before the street lights came on, and didn’t stop until at least two people told us that it was too late, go home. :) We filled two pillow cases with stuff that lasted until New Year.
