    I don’t have an issue with some people having more than others as long as everybody has enough.

    There is enough wealth for everyone to have enough without impoverishing those in the 1%. They would hardly know that they’ve “lost” anything.

    However, money has become the method by which most of the world (especially in the United States) keeps score. It does not matter that you have more than a thousand times the money you could possibly use. you still need more because somebody else has more.

    To me, the purpose of money isn’t to have things; it’s to do things.

    Also, money equates to power. I would like to get together with my friends and pool our money so we can buy a Congressman. We’d set him loose and see if he can survive in the wild.
