Hair Groppenfuror’s decision was made without consulting his own military and intelligence and diplomatic services. I doubt he understands or cares what his decision means to the region and the world. He just knows that Master Vlad patted him on the head and gave him an “atta boy”.
What could possibly go wrong with a self-proclaimed intellectual giant (but lacking the most rudimentary actual knowledge) tries his “ideas” in international policies?
