Yup, the trumpets go gobble, gobble, gobble and lovingly eat up the droppings of dearest leader. No pride, no sense of what is right. braindead has it right.
Should be wearing the Russian lapel pin. Hair Groppenfuror’s words and actions have certainly strengthened their hand in the Mid-East, a long time goal of theirs.
As partisanship grows stronger and more tribal, traditional American values are being lost along with truth, integrity, honesty, cooperation, compromise, ethical/moral behavior and loyalty to allies. We have regressed from being an honorable nation to competing tribes looking out for themselves ignoring our Constitution and established religions that used to guide us.
Because the only option is to keep the U.S. in wars all over the globe. Right.
Trump is a lousy commander in chief, but not because he pulled troops. He’s a lousy commander because of his herky-jerky approach, his refusal to engage with Assad and Putin to make a smoother transition, and the fact that he didn’t pull troops from Syria; he just pulled them back to squat on the oil fields.
He may still get decent results, though, because Syria and Russia have jumped into the fray. Go figure.
I find it odd, since the rational for withdrawing troops from Syria, was to “bring our boys home.” Home, apparently, is protecting Saudi Oil Interests, not back to the US.
Leave it to psychopath Trump to undo something that was working and with very few US troops. When ISIS regains strength what’s Trump going to say this time? Obama did it again?
Did anyone notice that at the conference table where the “temporary cease fire” was negotiated, there was Erdogan, there was Pence, there was Pompeo, but there were no Kurds at the table. Now you’d think think that they’d want to have a representative at the cease-fire talk.
Having Americans Pence and Pompeo “speak” on behalf of the Kurds is a bit like having Judas Iscariot speaking on behalf of Jesus, don’t you think? (Although I will grant that Judas would be a fairer representative than the two Mikes.)

By the way, when might we expect to see US troops in Yemen? And, for how many years?

Strange how many GOPists I know who would think that hilarious if it were about the French, and don’t even see the connection about US.
