My eyes aren’t focused yet this early morning. The critter in the first panel looked like a black rabbit at first until I suddenly saw that what I thought was bunny ears was the crows beak…sort of like the profiles vs vase optical illusion.

I am thoroughly engrossed by this tale.

Yea! We get to see Louie the skunk, he who should not be startled, again. Love this story arc and the new characters. The details are incredible. Lots of talent in that left hand Georgia.

I’m still trying to figure out Old Mag’s head gear. She’s got two soup cans, perhaps on her shoulders, with chickadees. She’s got an arc of something over her head, and perhaps clothes pins for decoration on that arc. What’s the arc made of?

Got a feeling Queen Mag is more like Baba Mouse than Road Warrior.

Meanwhile – Goldie can’t still be asleep. I mean, even sleeping sixteen hours a day she has to have at least rolled over once since we last saw her.

Mag reminds me a bit of Odin, with chickadees whispering in her ears instead of ravens.

So this is going to be a rather odor-iforous meeting.

We live in the country and have a skunk who comes by periodically…we call him Pewie Louie, for obvious reasons. He’s pretty cute

Ok, I feel like we are suddenly in our backyard with our crew of skunks, raccoons, possums and others. Be careful Beatrix! Those raccoons can play rough!
