You can’t go wrong with a pet snake.

There is no such thing!

Snakes are wonderful for rodent control.

Yeah, not buying the sentiment here, Wiz.

On the scales of time, there will be some wiggle room for finding a solution.

Oldest son had a boa constrictor. He raised mice to feed it. The mice farm was in the garage so an occasional outside snake would drop in for a snack.

You won’t be married much longer with that thing, Wiz!

Watch out! It may act like Puss in Boots!

Remember when he brought Henry home? He too was adorable.

There’s no way a snake will be hissing in my pit…..

Well, there is no humor in today’s strip. Is this a setup for the next few?

And their cousins—lizards—are great for insect control.

I’ve actually known a few cute ones—grass snakes and garter snakes. And ring snakes.

Not a pet snake with those fangs. Is it a dreaded Queen snake? No, probably not. They don’t have fangs.

Well, that is what some people do. I am more of a snake stomper, but to each his own.

so, if the particular species was a boa or python, Wiz would try and sell Blanche that the critter only wants to give hugs?

Little greensnakes are beautiful! I had one while in college. He’d wrap himself around my wrist like an emerald bracelet.

I was born in The Year of the Snake. And, yes, I’m a sneaky snake!
