    Nerdy religious question time!

Was the Snake in the Garden the same Devil who rebelled against God and was cast out by St. Micheal?

Also, doesn’t the snake have arms and legs when he tempts Eve, losing them after the omniscient God notices what happened? Why does everyone show the snake without legs at the start?

And why didn’t the omniscient God just put a fence around the tree? And free will, don’t get me started on free will…

But I would like an answer to the first one.

This doesn’t follow. If everything is predetermined, then you can’t have two choices.

You must remember that the snake wasn’t a snake at the beginning. Only after did the “snake” lose its legs.
