My family doctor, er, “Primary Care Physician”, is more of a booking agent for the specialists in the area. You got a tummy ache? It’s off to a gastroenterologist. Knee hurt? Hello orthopedist. Etc. etc. etc.
There was a time in the USA that hospitals were non-profit and they would only send you one bill. Now they are like the a shopping mall where every department will send you a separate bill. I hate hospitals.

If it’s anything like my HMO you’d never get out and they would send a rotating bill to you’re family.
