    You mean ELLISH, EMMISH, ENNISH, O-ish, and R-ish, Marcie—for one thing, Emmy is the name of an award, and Elly is a proper name—a nickname for Eleanor.

    Ok, I get the ’n’s are too much like ’m’s and vice versa and ’i’s too much like ’l’s all being bad things, but why are ’o’s being like ’o’s and ’r’s being like ’r’s bad? A letter cannot be too much like itself.
