    I hear that the post-cotton soil in the South (and elsewhere) has a lot of arsenic in it, which rice naturally absorbs and retains. I was advised to look for Basmati rice from southern California.

    Maybe it was northern California.

    So, now all she needs to do is have the house raised up about 10 feet, pour a new Foundation and build a Concrete Wall around the new “Basement”. Without any Doors or Windows to let the water in. The “Front Steps” are going to be a lot longer than they used to be.
