Some of the video footage coming out of Kurdish territory is a lot more heart-moving than this image. Not as cute, though.

Still want to know why he thinks that if he loses us all our allies it’s a good thing.

Of all the editorials on the betrayal of the Kurdish People, this one hits me between the eyes. Efforts towards peace and a home, rejected in infancy. No words.

(I stayed with a Kurdish family in Küçükkuyu, near Assos for a summer. Learned about their heart and spirit.)

Remember in school, when you were taught that only cowards cut and run. Remember how we were taught that the U.S. was exceptional. Remember when other President’s said an attack on one ally, is an attack on the U.S. as well….

A secret agreement with Erdoğan was made that will personally profit trump, in exchange for abandoning the Kurds. The Kurds, or allies in the war against Isis are dying now because of trump. Its as simple as that.

Donald Trump: xenophobe in public, international mobster in private

Robert Reich Sun 13 Oct 2019

The founding fathers said betraying America to foreign powers was an impeachable offense. The president must go

The most xenophobic and isolationist American president in modern history has been selling America to foreign powers for his own personal benefit.

Trump never divested from his real estate business, and the Trump Towers Istanbul is the Trump Organization’s first and only office and residential building in Europe. Businesses linked to the Turkish government are also major patrons of the Trump Organization. Which may be why Trump has repeatedly sided with the Turkish strongman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has been intent on eliminating the Kurds.

Jessie, above, mentions two deaths – the first one being the Turks and the second being American honor.

On both counts, he is correct. The Turks are fighting for “more land” while the Kurds are fighting for their very existence. Now all those “terrorists” Turkey has been yammering about are going to turn into “freedom fighters” in the eyes of the world, and, once again, the bloody story of Armenia and, subsequently, of “Kurdistan” will be dredged up, once again showing the world just how despicable Turkey “really is”.

Is Turkey really “despicable”? It depends on your viewpoint; however, Turkey is perceived as the aggressor, here, the bully, and perception is everything.

Oh, and that mention of the death of American “honor”? If it EVER existed (remember, I’m an Amerind and my people have experienced “American honor” up close and personal), when it finally did die in Syria, it was so small it could be buried in a matchbox.

Just you wait, people. Trump’s gonna hit Turkey hard with economic woes. First, he’ll jack up the mini-bar prices at Trump Istanbul…

There are 2 deaths ongoing with this sell out : the massacre of the Kurds and the death of all American honor and ethics. Only Christ was able to arise from the dead and he weeps for his children, the Kurds and condemns Trump to eternal damnation. Trump should be impeached solely for this heinous act of murder and deported for the battlefront in Syria.

Turkey is supposedly a NATO ally. The Kurds while I sympathize are not a nation but a tribe. Their government should be helping them and protecting its own boarders or maybe even NATO/UN . We are not the world police force. I spent two long in foreign lands getting shot at for century long augments that can never be resolved. We should never occupy a land unless we plan on taking it over. The cost is too high in blood, sweat and tears. Semper Fi
