I would suggest looking up (youtube) Senator Graham’s opinions of impeachment that he delivered while a representative on the floor of the House when the republicans were impeaching President Clinton. It is truly “illuminating” on several levels, since Lindsey is currently playing “Grover Dill” to Trump’s “Scut Farkus”.

Evidently, current Congressional republicans see absolutely nothing wrong with Trump’s repeated calls for outside interference with America’s electoral process.

Of course, on some level, Trump’s “toadies” recognize that, without extensive assistance from outside sources, he has NO chance of being elected to any political position higher than Capitol Dog Catcher!

A 2015 tweet from Lindsey: “Donald Trump gets his foreign policy from watching television – the Cartoon Network.”

Sorry for repeating this from Jack Ohman (about Pompeo), but it’s also very apt here: Miss Lindsay is just another in a long line of “Everything Trump Touches Dies”, and that book should be required reading—although I doubt if Trump supporters watch “Sesame Street” often enough to learn to read…..

Gotta believe that Trump is blackmailing Lindsay.

I would guess threatening to out him — true or not, it would vaporize Lindsay’s career.

Is there someone, anywhere, who believes that’s something Trump would not do?

“You don’t even have to be convicted of a crime to lose your job in this constitutional republic if [the Senate] determines that your conduct as a public official is clearly out of bounds in your role … because impeachment is not about punishment. Impeachment is about cleansing the office. Impeachment is about restoring honor and integrity to the office.” —Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), 1999 comment about President Bill Clinton

Lindsey in 2016: Speaking in front of colleagues and journalists at the Washington Press Club Foundation’s annual Congressional Dinner: “My party has gone batshit crazy,” he said, to hoots and cheers from the audience. “How did I lose to these guys?” ~ “I’ve got a ticket on the Titanic. So I am like on the team that bought a ticket on the Titanic after we saw the movie. This is what happens if you nominate Trump.” – to reporters on Capitol Hill, Feb. 25, 2016
