I had a variation on that theme. I had a dream where I found a hobby shop/toy store where there were so many neat things that didn’t exist in actuality. I had no money on me. That was so vivid (in colour!) that I can still recall it 60 +/- years later.

I keep dreaming I find new comic strip collections of comic strips that ended long ago… and I wake up right before I can pay for them.
