Just like any other squatter or homesteader, she’ll eventually be run off by big cattle barons.

Legally speaking, I own a piece of property. However, I consider myself to be merely the current occupant tasked with the stewardship of it.

She won’t have to wait for eminent domain and banking. All she has to do is wait for somebody to come along with more of them then there are of her.

Is the apparent swapped flag a result of the artist or the colorist? It looks like there are ink lines between the colors which makes it the artist, right?

Do people claim things with flags any more?

Actually Eminent Domain comes with the flag. Much to the chagrin of the Bankers.

But the banks are made of marble, with a guard at every door,

And the vaults are stuffed with silver that we all struggled for.

This land is your land….. but not really.

Eminent domain was claimed as the justification for the purchase of Centralia (PA), due to a mine fire that threatened the town. There were a few people who rejected it in court. Those guys will be allowed to stay in their houses until they die. Then the houses/land will become the property of the state of PA.

(Hint, governments are hard to beat but cheap to buy.)

In my experience placing a flag makes it a land mine.
