That’s it Bob? “Sneezes”?? And of course “whataboutism” is also a very weak argument, not that weak arguments have ever stopped you before.
But sure: Fast and Furious was a mistake. And we liberals recognized it and got past it.
It has been carefully shown that the IRS targeted only groups who were illegally engaging in political speech while claiming tax exempt status. Both right wing and liberal. Of course there were an awful lot of the former, and only a few of the latter.
Benghazi and emails: Not proven. Despite $millions and years trying to prove.
Of course, Gorrell ignores the fact that the “sneeze” was a phone call to the Ukraine, trying to get them to manufacture dirt on a political rival of Trump’s, plus withholding aid which was already approved by BOTH parties in Congress for the Ukraine.
It has been pointed out that withholding aid to the Ukraine helps Putin, so was Trump’s primary goal to get dirt on Biden or help Russia. Maybe it was Trump’s idea of “win/win”.
Due process? If you’re a conservative desn’t apply. Now thet evidence has showed the first whistle blower may have some bagage Shazam, another comes out of the woodwork.
For 6 years of the Obama presidency the not so grand old party held the majority of both the house and senate. If there were any merit to those issues being impeachable, I think they would have tried.
So, nothing was done in spite of all the Republican investigations of conspiracy theories that yielded nothing, so actual crimes should be ignored, Gorrell? Is that the standard now?
I’m not gonna comment on the rest of these, but even the New York Post described the Loretta Lynch final testimony as a “snoozefest”, and even Republicans were quoted as saying “she was answering our questions, but I didn’t get the feeling she knew a whole lot” .
The first five were investigated, some while Republicans were in charge of both houses and they couldn’t find sh*t. Now there’s actual criminal activity going on in plane sight and the cons have their eyes firmly closed.
And just how do you define sneeze? Would it be violation of the emoluments rules? Because no president has financially profited directly from his office more than Trump, yet it goes untouched. Would it be his illegal treatment of immigrant children resulting in multiple deaths? No consequences for him. Would it be his refusal to fill cabinet and departmental head positions with permanent leaders because he doesn’t like the vetting/approval process (leaving us with more “acting” directors than ever in history)? That goes unchallenged. Does he get too much attention for sharing US secrets with enemy nations? No. He gets a pass for these and so much more, yet you freak out when the FBI and the CIA say he’s gone a bridge too far with openly seeking foreign interference in our elections. Got it.
Trump trying to get a foreign country to get involved with our elections is not sneezing. Back when Clinton was impeached, Bob’s pals went after him for lying about his sex life. Now, Bob’s WH man lies about everything all the time, violates laws right and left, and acts traitorous at various times, but Bob still thinks he’s guiltless. Typical Repub. I shouldn’t expect better.
too bad you don’t grow some and start thinking of your country rather than your party. I am sure if you look on amazon you may find a pair that you could buy in bulk and share them with your friends
That’s all you got, Bob. Fast and Furious? Investigated. IRS targeting Conservatives? Investigated and discovered equal number of Liberal non-profit groups were also scrutinized and rejected. Benghazi? Investigated non-stop for two years and nada by GOP controlled committees. HRC emails? Investigated and deemed negligent and she wasn’t elected. GOP succeeded. Loretta Lynch? What about her? Her name makes her guilty I guess. Trump asked two foreign governments to investigate a political rival, has his AG and personal attorney personally reaching out to foreign governments to investigate sources that were part of the FBI Russian investigation, 13 incidents of obstructing a lawful FBI counter-intelligence investigation, personal attorney admits Trump has committed financial crimes during election campaign, and now whistleblower claiming a Trump political appointee in IRS is trying to keep his taxes from being audited and released. Yea, Bob, nothing to see here. Trump is being railroaded for being corrupt.
IRS did not target conservatives. The IRS was doing it’s job by vetting 501c organizations and more conservative gruops were applying. That means more would be vetted. Benghazi had 8 hearings on it, Secretary Clinton testified for 11 hrs. The Republicans found nothing in those 8 hearings.
Even if any crimes were committed in the 5 things you mentioned, it does not excuse trump’s crimes. If you think a sneeze is equivalent to treason, campaign finance fraud, emulates, etc., you are sorely mistaken.
Dear Mr. Gorrell; We the majority of the electorate absolutely love the angst, the squirming, the impotent attempts at misdirection and empty declarations of you and your conservative friends. Your actions highlight the evils of Trump far more than your words and your cartoons.
You know what Trump has done. You know it isn’t just a sneeze. You know why people are yelling “impeach”. Why don’t you honestly say “yeah trump did ___, but that’s no big deal” Draw a comic about it.
Republicans don’t legislate, they obfuscate. Bob got his check from the RNC for this drivel, so hopefully he’ll take a few days off. Good work Mr. G…Signed…. CIC Bonespurs
I’m confused about “IRS targeting conservatives”. If Obama ordered it like conservatives claim, wasn’t he just fulfilling his presidential duties of investigating corruption, just like Trump?
