Looks like Coffee will be late in doing the math, they done got away. Will Tracy and MCU have roadblocks now that it is too late to do anything at the theater ?  I’m beginning to think Tracy was off loading pastries in the men’s room while the napping took place or perhaps he was doing some ‘napping’ of his own. I can see how the play could make one drowsy, with its lack of special effects and no chase scenes though I see one that may be coming up.

Ah, the old “don’t kill the protagonist when ya got a chance and keep the protagonist alive until the end of the story” trick. It’s the second time this month!

Makes me wonder if Tracy is tailing these people???

I think y’all missed it. They’ve put ’er in the back of their car. Last panel shows exhaust fumes and the sound of the car racing off…

Clair and Jimmy have loaded the Drugged Detective into the back of their pickup (with a hard top over the cargo bed), to take her to a place closed to the public, in some haste. VRRRROM! Lead-foot it, Jimmy!
