That “poisoned candy” nonsense makes me angry. There was exactly one case of that, and it was a father who tried to poison his own kid because he was in debt and wanted the insurance money. Every year hospitals and walk-in clinics offer to scan apples, etc. for razor blades and needles, and they’ve never, ever found anything. Aaargh!
Do you really think a bubble gum supplement called “Bazooka Joe” is pro-gun propaganda? Even I, as a staunch believer in gun control, think that’s over the top.
Anti-Gun fear pops up in many unexpected places. While watching Football this weekend Fox referred to the 100+ year old “Red River Shootout” Game Texas vs Oklahoma as the Red River Showdown. Interesting cultural shift. Will Bomb, Blitz and Shotgun be removed from the Lexicon also ?
