Didn’t notice Earl scratching in areas that might have been affected by the underwear drawer…but this IS a family strip, I guess…

My cat lounges in my laundry basket while I’m folding my clothes, and when it’s full of folded clothes, she nods off and goest o sleep.

I have fond memories of hunting for our cat, up and down the street, in back yards, even in garbage cans, in the middle of winter. We found her in my son’s bureau drawer.

The undie section is not where Earl is scratching.. Perhaps too much spray starch while ironing the shirts..

I just read a very old science fiction story in which the first man to Mars was heading home to Earth when he started showing symptoms if a strange disease. He was put in quarantine on the Moon while they tried to figure out what it was. He finally realized there was a cat fur electrostatic generator cleaning up the dust and he was allergic to cats.

I do sometimes wonder about cat hair. Both of us seem to be immune, which is a damn good thing, considering that the cat knows how to open drawers and cupboard doors. And yes, the undies drawer is one of her favorites, though the dark dress pants draw a lot of attention too.
