Our Federal government (and most state governments) totally embrace the fossil fuel industry because of the tremendous cash flow. The Saudis are taking the prize for most corrupt in the Middle East, as well as most destabilizing. We lose way too much moral standing by coddling them and kissing up to them, but then moral standing isn’t a big topic for Trumpistas.
