Years ago a woman called into a radio station complaining about the town putting a ‘Deer Crossing’ sign on a busy street. She thought the sign should have been put somewhere on a street where it would have been safer for them to cross.
There is a sign on the 417 half way between Ottawa and Montreal depicting a Deer followed by a Buck. The Deer is walking but the Buck is up on it’s hind legs. I snicker every time I drive by and wonder how many others do too.
