Actually it just shows that Judy still has all the psychological baggage she first brought to the marriage…..

Do I get a look of contentment on his face?

And just what drove you to that conclusion?

She’s just very attached to her matching luggage.Never leaves home without it.

Why is HE there anyways? Now he can turn her “she shed” into a TV room!

Beginning?

No question, Judy is gone. And Joe is wondering if he can swap the tissue box for that cup of coffee.

Have an ex like that, moved out (to her grandmother’s in an other state) and then told me she wanted a divorce.

“Honey, if die before you, I want you to know that I’d be OK with you getting remarried.”

“Nah, Bob doesn’t like a lot of fuss.”

Went to couple’s counseling with a former GF. She picked the person, but the counselor ended up pointing out that my GF was paying no attention to anything I said. She moved out and oddly enough, married someone else six months later.

She’ll get the gold mine. He’ll get the shaft!

“I won the lottery and I’m going on vacation. Pack your bags!”

“Should I pack for warm weather or cold weather?”

“I don’t care, as long as you’re out of here in two weeks.”

Well, the men could at least try and get her to stay.

I saw this many times when providing marriage counseling. One – or both – of the partners may have already decided it’s over, but hey want to be able to tell themselves they “tried”, and/or are looking for the counselor to in effect tell them it’s OK, and give permission to leave.

Looks like my ex.She went to therapy to make me stronger,for when she finally divorced me.That strategy didn’t work ;~{

She’s leaving. He gets the house. Win win.

Doesn’t he technically get to keep 50% of what’s in the luggage?

With the counselor’s firm grasp on the obvious, you have to wonder how successful his efforts could be.

Judy was hoping the Gorilla would show up and Dance on her Samsonite.

And on her Husband.

It is my (largely intuited) belief that 9/10 times, the woman is more invested in the relationship than the man. I’d be happy to have real data.

Climbing with my wife in Yosemite before we married, had her on belay about 1,500 feet up. She looked up and asked, “What do you think of divorce?”, I responded, “I don’t believe in divorce.” Pregnant pause, then “I believe in accidents.” She looked down to the valley floor and said, “Oh”. January will mark our 50th wedding anniversary. Oh, we’ve had our “moments” and accepting that I’m the one who’s always wrong, usually works.

By the time one partner suggests going to counseling, usually the other made up her/his mind long before.

Made up my mind, if I’m ever in this situation again, she’s the one that has to pack and leave … ;)

Well, now, this kind of shows just how much baggage Judy really was, for him!

She propably made HIM carry all that stuff in !!! lol

That was a waste of money.
