If it’s the Premier League, it’s the Chartered Accountancy playing the Online Betting Board.

I dunno, Betty. Since I fly a lot, I’d prefer to know the airline has the money to keep their planes safe!

In the Premier League, advertising is so blatant, that you sometimes have no idea who the team actually is. Most are owned by Middle East and Asian billionaires.

I wish soccer had been popular in the US when I was a kid. I think I would have been good at it.

umm.. don’t people watch the Superbowl mostly to see the ads and the middle time show? and as EdMeiller posted above, don’t the guys of Nascar place whatever thing they can fit in their overalls?

The Arena Football League allowed an advertising patch on team jerseys from the very first game to the very last. A few years ago the NBA allowed one, just one, advertising patch to be placed on team jerseys. The Canadian Football League does the same. The NFL will find a way.

I too would hate to be rooting for the insurance company. Those people are heartless. They make Monty Burns look like a philanthropist.

Only yesterday they were pointing out they didn’t interrupt soccer games for commercials. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do…
