Was Opal expecting Earl to take her for a walk along the beach and eat at — oh, I don’t know — Red Lobster?

Costco wasn’t around here when my parents did things like that but that sounds like their “going outs.”

They serve food there. How is that NOT a date?

For it to be a date it would of had to have been Sam’s Club.

It’s not don’t tell my wife then

It’s a date if you’re invited to do something that’s somewhat into the future and you accept.

Opal should know by now that Earl is not a romantic man. :) Some men are but many of them are not. :)

Home Depot is if it is a project for her.

Don’t be picky, Opal. It could have been worse by him taking you to a street vendor.

At least they did something together!

Instead of cooking breakfast, we have breakfast at Costco sometimes – whatever samples they are serving. Love the price and no tipping. LOL.

I guess Costco is better than the fabric shop…..at least you can get a sandwich there….

Next time Opal you Drive and show Earl how it’s done !

Senior Citizen dinner. Hell you can’t get a drink at a food place for a buck fifty anymore. Then again there’s always the pizza.

Our SIL pulled into a fast food restaurant for their anniversary one year. Our daughter almost burst into tears. He finally told her he was kidding. In the spirit of the whole thing, it was quite funny.

Costco’s menu selection is small, and the ambiance…well, the less said the better.

Pardon me, but isn’t this a repeat?

And then we went to CVS for dessert while waiting for our prescriptions to be filled…

It is if he shaved and put on a clean shirt… ☺

But why isn’t it?

Some days Opal is hard to please.

All of these comments make me think that there is nowhere nice to eat in the USA.

Now Earl I don’t normally agree with Opal but in this instance she’s right. Sorry…..
