Dan. You sort of inflated things to make childcare just a look little bad, didn’t you? Where do you outfit your children? Do you have children? Rodeo Drive is not that bad. But that thing you got? It’s going around. I think you’ve got a case of it. (No $1200 phone)?

The Apple Watch is something no kid needs. And nobody needs a Cleveland Indians hat. :-)

Forgot the bullet proof panel in case of school shootings!

$60? Obviously that’s not a bullet proof backpack

It hurts me when I see a child bent over and struggling to carry a backpack full of stuff. Their little bodies are not developed enough, surely they will have back problems as an adult.

Based on the comments so far, it looks like Dan is becoming proficient at hitting nerves. Let us all hope he doesn’t take up dentistry as a second career. (Keep up the good work Dan)

The kid would need new clothes periodically anyway, unless you have a lot of relatives who can hand-me-down. The haircut too, probably, though in most places, if neither you nor the kid wants to get it cut, the school won’t expel him/her for having hair that’s too long. Are the backpack and lunchbox from last semester no longer usable? And if the kid doesn’t already have a pricey watch, what school mandates it?

Bowl: $3.00. Scissors: $5.00. Divide cost by number of haircuts before kid gets a job and pays for his own haircuts.

Plastic grocery bag for lunches: no cost.

    $60 saved right there!
