If you walk on it, it will just get dirty again and then you’ll have to mop it again. I know. When Dan gets home, he can carry you across the floor and then you can blame him for the floor being dirty. It wasn’t your fault.
Housework is the most unrewarding job. You get everything looking so good and you are the only one that really appreciates it……………then it’s time to do it all again.
I live by the Aunty Acid motto, which is “My housekeeping method can best be described as THAT’S GOOD ENOUGH.” Of course I’m paying for it now that I’m moving, but as far as I can tell that’s the only downside.

Walk backwards and mop in a sweeping manner. Or just drag the mop behind you like I do. :)
