Our government is supposed to be an extension of the will & best interests of the people within the framework of self-evident truths.
Children and mentally impaired adults are at the mercy of society’s better (or worse) efforts. Inform and educate the public about dangerous practices and substances and we can decide what is taboo — through laws our representatives enact and our own best judgement.
Arbitrary rule making from any president — before the facts are in — is the stuff of dictatorship.
Get the scientists busy in our labs to determine what is actually happening with these products and publish the results. The people will do the rest.
