Unless you are a Larch Pine (Tamarack), then you change colors and lose your needles!
How deciduous of you!
Many of the pines in this area turned color and lost their needles a few years ago; it wasn’t pretty. We had one though, that had it’s outer layer flaying off before the needles even turned; it’s bark was worse than its blight.
All glory is short-lived and braggart glory is shortest of all.
I LUVED it when I first learned that trees really DO talk to each other. . .

He’s annoyed because they get nekkid every year, but he’s the one that people call knotty.
