I have a relative-in-law who managed, finally, to stop smoking by starting with the vape thing. It’s true, I’m not very fond of him, but it’s been almost funny watching him try to explain why all those other people aren’t like he is, and why it’s still safe for him… And oh yeah: It’s way cheaper too.

I know that quitting is hard: Maybe the hardest thing I ever did, but y’know what? If I can then I’m pretty sure you can too.

Inhale anything for long enough and it will give you problems.

They keep leaving out the part about how the vapes are set up. Nearly all of the cases are with devices that require the person to mix and load their own formula.

Why? Simple answer. The people trying to ban flavored vaping don’t want to dilute their message. They are focused on the flavored substances that are attracting kids, but this new wave of respiratory problems is perfect for their campaign. Provided you leave out the part about home brewed formulas.

We are looking at 2 very different problems, and they should not be lumped together.

1, we need to get rid of the flavor cartridges to cut down on teen vaping.2, we need to eliminate the devices that allow the person to mix their own solution.

Vaping nicotine got an excellent start in reducing the use of inhaled tobacco products. Say what you will about nicotine addiction, I will not argue. But lung cancer and emphysema do NOT come from nicotine. By getting smokers to switch to vaping we can reduce the incidence of lung cancer and other nasty lung ailments.
