I doubt it does his spine much good either. At least he’s fixed the range so he’s no longer hitting the ground with his face.

Hey, is that a spring-loaded, hand-activated, fixed-base, seated manapult with auto-jigger attachment and safety harness? I haven’t seen one of those in ages! Boy, that really takes me back.

I see he’s lost a glove and a sock and his mind apparently.

Edith only mentioned his digestion because the constant burping at the dinner table caused her to lose her appetite. Hmm, considering how much she weighs, that might not be a bad thing.

I guess it does interfere with your digestion when your spine, along with everything else, gets compressed by 50%

Arthur has that ‘thrill of victory’ look, for Edith it’s another defeat…

You can tell by Arthur’s glove that this isn’t his first rodeo.

That reminds me of the 6 wheeled, wooden, glass front, four door, handled, antique, credenza in the dining room……

The compression on the spine is agonizing, but the stretching out upon deceleration is heavenly.

However, it has garnered him numerous Gardening Awards. He has the most spectacular face-plants in the whole neighborhood… ☺

I expect that machine would be good for shaking the loose change out of your pocket as well.

For believers in safety harnesses, take note. I recently completed an industrial course in harness safety. The sad, sad truth is that, even, if a harness catches you when you fall, you can still die within 30 minutes from the forces holding you. Even sadder, average response time by rescue crews in such situations is 40 minutes.
