Not only Indian weddings, the Orthodox Jews are blatantly holding massive crowd gatherings during this pandemic…millions are flying and traveling, and not caring about the spread of the virus….with this ignorant defiance, CORONA will never leave our country! How stupid can people be? It’s disgusting! Selfishness, no sacrifice….they couldn’t care less about the greater good….
I’ve tried to explain to young folks- it’s not the wedding, it’s the marriage that’s most important. Instead of putting yourself in the spotlight and engaging in vulgar displays of consumption, focus on your future together. This is from an old fart, married to another old fart, for over 31 years.

True and tragic. A tiny, ludicrously wealthy minority easily undoes the efforts of the larger minority who tries to reduce its consumption.
