This comic is true!

Even though there have been incidents like that, they still keep doing what they’re doing….obsession

Standing on the corner one day waiting for the walk signal and some idiot texting on his phone walked right into me and knocked me into the traffic lane. Car swerved to avoid me and almost crashed into another car. Moron blissfully kept texting, not even an “I’m sorry”. I and many of the others waiting had some very uinladylike comments for him.

There was a STNG episode where Wesley brought back to the Enterprise a video game that ended up totally mesmerizing the crew. It looks like the smartphone has some of these same qualities as I have seen this comic in real life.

Worse than squirrels, which will actually realize they made a mistake and run back.

The two most memorable incidents for me were:

I come up to a four-way stop and the drivers of all 3 of the other cars are looking at their phones…

A mother is pushing a baby carriage with her elbows as she’s using both hands to type on her phone…

Be glad you got to say “Oops”.

At 1500+, Broomie still leads a charmed life. Any ordinary citizen would have been hit by the car!
