These last few strips have been quite notable.

Did he take the escalator to the bass-ment?

That’s some key change…

Horace always wanted a bass guitar.

He’s evidently doing a descending scale using a guitar slide…

I don’t hear well, play an instrument, or really read music, but that series looks appropriate to the action.

If you squint at it right, it’s not a down escalator. It’s a hallway that turns right, then left. The musical decoration on the wall just goes level.

Escalator Music.

Sounds like a sliding scale.
