Cute people hooking up with cute people would “create” more cuteness instead of causing shortages, but you’d have to wait 20-odd years for the outcome.
Not sure how a cute guy pairing up with a cute girl causes a cutie shortage for Lila any more than had he paired up with a non-cutie. Unless Lila is upset that both cuties are lost to her (i.e. she swings two ways).
