Trust Belfry? You would have a better chance of trusting the prince of evil (Satan).

You just have to fool the 1.5% that finance everything.

You always know where Belfry stands or, rather, lays.

Oddly enough it was 30% of the voters who elected the mayor of my city. A lawyer guilty of several ethics violations.

Well, the voters only have themselves to blame. People scream about freedom, but ignore one of the responsibilities that goes with it. Get into a voting booth at every election and make an informed choice. Those who don’t, have no right to complain about the result.

If you do not vote, then you have no right to complain about the type of government you have. I don’t give a damn if you hate all the candidates, not casting a ballot means you are abdicating your responsibility as a citizen.

Non-participants in a democracy deserve the type of government they get.

I longer reside in the United States but maintain a resident address in the U.S. and have remained a registered voter in Florida. I have voted ( absentee ballot ) in every election – local and national – since living here, because, even as an expat, I feel strongly about voicing my concerns for the country and exercising my right and responsibility to vote.

No matter what side of the political coin you’re on, get out and Vote in 2020!!

And most of them vote on the melody, not the lyrics.

Enough complaints about the Electoral College. If you actually get 50%+ you will probably have that. If the highest anyone gets is in the low 40s that’s when they might lose. At least the EC gives someone a majority of something. Quit offering choices that over half the country hates in the first place.
