He skipped the climate change meeting. They say he was meeting with leaders. But the leaders were at the climate change meeting! He wants warming anyway to thaw out Greenland after he buys it.
His delusions are spreading. ’Con congressmen are now talking about his bigly strategic genuis in proposing this purchase. What do they not understand about “absurb”, their leader is certainly the poster child for the word.
Trump’s non-stop falsehoods, with barely a pause to take a breath, remind me of philosopher Harry G. Frankfurt’s distinction between truth, lies, and b—-s—-. [Because I don’t know which words will get my post deleted, I’m playing it a bit safer by this bit of bowdlerization.]
He makes these observations: Those who care about the truth either try to tell the truth [truth tellers] or try to hide the truth when they want to deceive [liars]. The idea is that even liars admit that there is such a thing as truth even when they choose to disregard it, and may even feel guilt and may later admit it and tell the truth.
Frankfurt argued that the b—-s——er is even worse than the liar. The BSer doesn’t even care for truth or care what the truth is and will say without hesitation or a sense of guilt whatever will further his/her own goal at the moment. It’s the zero regard for the truth that makes such people even more dangerous than liars. There is no sense of guilt or any eventual remorse. The BSer may even contradict previous statements without hesitation and claim never to have made those prior statements in the face of conclusive evidence against him.
Donald Trump is the BSer in Chief to a sociopathic degree. Either that, or he is clinically insane and actually believes his fantasies of the moment.
What grieves me most is the many people around him and in the GOP who are willing to support his falsehoods. They have become at the least liars, at the worst, non-stop BSers.
I heard LSD was making a comeback as the psychedelic drug of choice these days. Evidence that the Nitwit has a cheap supply source? This would go a long way in explaining the behaviors of the Great Odiferous Blob.
Last year’s G& was a mess. Not much accomplished and Trump acted like an arse, as he often does. This one was productive and Trump mostly was behaved. They agreed on funds for the Brazil rainforest fire. Trump has a new trade agreement outlined with Japan (which fortunately includes more farm products headed overseas) and he agreed to step aside and let Macron intervene/negotiate with Iran. There were other things, but those are the 3 that I was pleased with.

That’s the great thing about Donald Trump: with such an abject loser in the Oval Office, I never have to worry about growing weary of winning.

Trump is the very model of a treason-loving idiot
And hopefully by now the voters all have had their fill of it
His tweets, his rants, his ethnic slurs, and other such inanities
Delusions by the truckload? Only part of his insanities
His constant licking of the boots of Putin (Dear ol’ Vladimir)
His access to our nukes is quite the thing that we all chiefly fear
A cross between a weasel and the darkest Dark Lord of the Sith
Solution? Let’s enact that famed Amendment—right, the 25th!

The Europeans asked the Donald why the American press coverage of him was so bad.
They meant, why isn’t the American Press showing what a big ugly idiot you really are?
