Years ago I got really tired of dealing with mice building nests in my grill along with the gnats, flies, mosquitoes, etc. so I moved our grill inside our screened porch. My wife wasn’t overly joyed about it but with this year’s outbreak of EEE she’s less worried about me grilling in the evening.

What? No yellow jackets? They usually show up as soon as the meat hits the grill.

Let’s just hope we stop it before December becomes the new July.

We have very few bugs around Portland, OR, so the main deterrent for grilling is the insanely hot summer sun.

Finally figured out what Janis is doing in panel two. My first impression was that she was performing an exorcism.

So, what’s buggin’ you?

Not “normal”? With Climate Change, there is no more “normal”.

It hasn’t been so in NH. Feels more like October around here this year.

September has always be July where I’m from. October too, for the most part.

I do not like warm Xmases and I have had several recently.

Yeah, and July is the new Hell.

Not around here this week – I had to put on long pants today to be warm. Yesterday was 70 degrees, today 75.

Heat index this week is over 100 in the SE that matches the July endurance test. What, me worry?
