That’s thinking outside the box, Dad.

When I was younger the phrase “children should be seen but not heard” was common

Some things we may be better off not seeing as well

They’re making music! But I think they are tone-deaf.

When my dog has a new squeeky toy he drives me crazy till he rips it’s innards out getting to the squeeker!

Sophie reminds me of all my pups – they loved their squeaky toys

My son requests that we buy no toys which make noises and removes the batteries of trucks and such which might honk or have a siren. Honestly, I think his son should have the same thrills growing up as he did.

Time for the plastic keys on a ring

I LOVE when dogs do the “rabbit pounce” on toys like Sophie in the last panel! My Sophie did that a lot as a puppy. <3

And if it’s too quiet, then you’re wondering what kind of trouble they’re getting into.
